Back Across America

Montana, Iowa, Missouri, the Fourth of July and Onondaga Cave

Our next leg of the trip was to Missouri to hang out with some friends, our original plans was to go to Deadwood and Yellowstone then Missouri for the 4th of July, so we are going to Missouri then back to Deadwood SD.

We stopped at this place 50,000 Silver Dollars in Haugan MT

The next day July 3rd we were traveling through Iowa, we were traveling through the farmers’ fields when Sheila let me know it was time for some food, I used the navigation on the bike to find a restaurant, it pointed us to the next exit where I saw nothing. We took it and headed over to where there was some Silos and a couple building. We found Cherry Top Café; some young girls were trying to make a go of it, was a cute place. Well the only place in this town.

July 4th, after riding through what seemed hell all day we made it to Salem MO to celebrate the 4th of July out in the woods. A great place to just sit back and relax for a while, Nice empty roads to ride on and really enjoy not having any plans

This is what I am talking about, good riding all over the place

In Missouri we had a great time, we went for a lot of rides everywhere. We checked out some cavers which was awesome. There are caverns everywhere up there. One thing I do love about Montana is you can get away from the traffic and find some real nice empty roads, go for hours without having to stop for anything. But do not pass the gas stations. Plus no cell service, loved it.

I had taken a picture here when I rode out on my Road King, so of course I had to take another one with the new bike.
