One More Ride: Key West

The ride home—and one last run to the Keys

Getting the 15K mile service done at Hot Rods up here in Muskegon before heading home It has been an experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life and I am hating that it is over.

Just 1200 miles left to go, I know this trip will be over before I am ready. But wait, we still need to go to Key West so we can say we went from the North west tip to the south east tip.

Ok that is the destination, besides; I have some friends in Key West LOL.

We took a few days to get home we got through Indianapolis and took the first hotel we saw, spent the night there nothing special. Then we traveled down to Alabama and stopped a little early for us in Montgomery Alabama where I was reminded that Jim and Nicks BBQ is all over the place, so we looked and sure enough just a few miles away so off we went, Love Jim and Nicks. For a chain it is damn good BBQ.

Always always stop by the train here and take a break from the long trip, just a couple more hours till we get home and unload the bike then head out to the keys LOL, yeah might sleep in my own bed a couple days. Why not.

So we did make it to the keys, we found a bed and breakfast Coco Plum Inn one block off of Duval street, Right next to the Green Parrot and next to that was Charlie Mac’s, wow great location great food. We didn’t need to leave this corner, but we did.

But I think I will put the ending here. We had a great time, I have a mountain of debt to pay off and I do not care. This is debt I am going to be happy to pay off. Other than the transmission and the Fucktards at the Harley dealer in Silverdale WA, I had a great time. Stories to tell for the rest of my Life.
